Wheels of Time
Rod & Custom Jamboree
The Wheels of Time Street Rod Association announces its 38th Annual Rod & Custom Jamboree at Macungie Memorial Park was another success. The weather was perfect for hosting Henry Winkler, “Fonzie”, as our special featured guest. The 3 day car show in August 2016 raised over $37,000 for local charities and over $10,000 for scholarships. The list of charities includes; Allentown Rescue Mission, American Cancer Society, ARC Association, Ben Yorgey Foundation, Bethany Children’s Home, Boys & Girls Club, Camelot for Children, Camp Serranova, Children’s Home of Easton, Dreams Come True, Good Shephard, Helping Hands, Macungie Ambulance Corp., Macungie Historical Society, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Macungie Veterans Association, Pediatric Cancer Center, & Turning Point. Scholarships were provided to 6 students to further their education in the automotive profession.
Many hours are put in by volunteers to put on the 3 day show and the Wheels of Time would like to thank them for their continued support; Boy Scout Troop 5, Boy Scout Troop 25, Boy Scout Troop 31, and all of our club members. The show would also not be possible without the generous help of our Sponsors; Kutztown Auto Company, Poorboys World, Wenzco supply, Blast from the Past Restoration & Customs, Inc., Adams Outdoor Advertising, & ADC powder coating.
Planning is in full swing for the 39th annual show to be held on August 25, 26, & 27, 2017. The show will be held again at the Macungie Memorial Park with a full line of cars, food, and entertainment. This year’s special feature will be 2 celebrities from the TV show Counting Cars; Horny Mike and Roli. The club would like to thank all the participants and spectators that make the show a success! Mark your calendars to join us for another show!
